Well if you wondered what it was like to work at JessicaLynnOriginal, LLC or JLMould.etsy.com it is a lot of pressure from the two that you see in the photo above. It is my adorable fuzzy kids, Strider & Evee. They love it sit and watch me work and they make sure that I take my 15 minute breaks (potty & walk breaks) and my 30 minute lunch only so they can beg for it!
I am so excited to share my brand new “JessicaLynnOriginal, LLC” sign for above my desk. I can’t wait to get my husband Aaron to hang it. You know I will share photos. I got the sign from http://www.etsy.com/shop/twocraftygirlz and I think they did a great job including adding my custom fonts! It is really inspiring to see my company name proudly displayed.
My question for you… Do your pets like to help you work or scrapbook? or craft?

Every time that I think about Valentine’s Day I always think about that first day that I met my husband. It has been 15 years this year that I drove out to Janesville, Wisconsin to meet him for a blind date. We hit it off really well and have been inseparable ever since. I am always trying to do something different to show off each holiday. I made an adorable sign to hang in the kitchen.
Supplies:
I glued the white card stock to the red and then I punched a hole in the top center of the cards and ran black ribbon into the holes. (Note.. I had trouble getting the cards to stay where they needed to be) So I ended up using the stapler and attaching the ribbon that way. I know.. I cheated, but hanging up on the wall you can’t see the staples. My plan is now to make one for other holidays including {Happy Birthday, Happy Easter, and more}

When you think about Target what is the first thing that you think of? Bullseye… you got it! That is branding. They want you to notice that logo and have you associate it with them. I personally always think Target when people I know dress in a red shirt and khakis. Or if I walk into the store dressed like that I usually end up with a few customers of theirs asking for assistance.
Why shouldn’t a small business do the same!? But you don’t have to hire someone to design a one of a kind logo (yet) you can just focus on the name of your company or a small design. Remember with a small business it is all about the baby steps.
The stamp that I created above is for magicalexpressions. They produce photography art that can sometimes take a beating in the mail. They opted for a stamp that included their name and their message! Love it! Why not.. and heck stamp it all over the place.. make sure people know that .. 1) hey. don’t bend it.. and 2) that MagicalExpressions is asking it!
When I say stamp it everywhere I mean it! Letters, order forms, mailing packages, post it notes, if it is an open spot.. STAMP IT!
What will you gain from this? Name recognition .. you want people to say oh yeah.. I got that item from…” YOUR COMPANY HERE” rather than.. I don’t know.. I got it from some online website. That is the difference. The stamp that we created for MagicalExpressions was a custom self inking stamp so they never have to look for ink. Jessica Lynn Mould, the owner of JessicaLynnOriginal, LLC and
JLMould.etsy.com designs and creates custom rubber stamps and was
featured in the February issue of “O, The Oprah Magazine” on
newsstands now.
JessicaLynnOriginal was featured in an article “Express Yourself” as a
way to enhance self-expression by turning anything into a custom
rubber stamp.
“One of the greatest feelings in the world is when you spend many
years working with customers to create custom stamps for their
weddings, baby showers, or small businesses and they send you a note
to say Thank You. It is all about trying to help with their dream or
idea,” says Jessica Lynn.
She was contacted by the staff of “O, The Oprah Magazine” on a Friday
afternoon, asking if they could have stamps to their office the

One of the greatest feelings in the world is when you spend many years working with customers to create custom stamps for their weddings, baby showers, or small businesses and they send you a note to say Thank You. It is all about trying to help with their dream or idea.
I love working for and with my creative customers. They are constantly inspiring me to try and create new things and to push my business to the next level.
JessicaLynnOriginal, LLC & JLMould.etsy.com (both are the same business) are featured in the February 2012 Issue of Oprah Magazine. It is such an amazing honor that I am very thankful for. It was a Friday afternoon when I was contacted by them to see if there was any way that I could have two or three custom designed stamps to their office inNew York. I emailed them back and asked if I would have someone that I could work with over the weekend to get the proofs approved. They assured me that they would be there to answer any questions that I might have had. I spent the weekend designing the stamps and getting approval. Aaron, my husband, packed them up on Tuesday and got them out of the house to their photo shoot in NY the next day.
I got an email from the ladies in the office that the stamps had arrived safe and sound and they were currently waiting for their turn. All I could image was my adorable stamps sitting there in the VIP Green Room, drinks in hand, relaxing and waiting to be called. I just had to draw out what I was picturing (see photo to the right).
They told me that the stamps looked amazing and that we were going to be in the February Issue of the Oprah Magazine. I can not tell you home much it means to me to be recognized for the amount of work that goes into a small business.

Oprah’s Cocker spaniel with a quote: I love to draw out animals. I have two amazing dogs (Strider & Evee) whom I just adore. They are my fuzzy kids. I knew that I wanted to draw something that would showcase my skills.
Megaphone: They were looking for this custom hand-drawn megaphone. When we first started designing I thought they wanted a “bull-horn” – LOL. I drew up a few versions and this is the great design that they approved.
Flowers with My Mom’s name: My mother has been an amazing inspiration to me my whole life. She is one of the greatest people that I know. She is always putting others first. The ladies at Oprah gave me the option for the names to add to the stamps and I knew the first one HAD TO BE Debbie.
Wedding Swirl Name: Normally the stamp with the name in the fancy swirl letter is one that I use for brides and grooms for their Save the Dates or for Goody Bags. But, I really love it with the single name…it would be perfect to place your name inside of your favorite books.
Handmade By: The next stamp features two of my sisters (Tracey & Kim). I just love the two of them so much and I wanted them to know that even though we are all grown up, I still remember every minute of our time together – mornings before school, listening to the Backstreet Boys, concerts, Weddings, Band Concerts, Disney trips - they are my sisters and I just love them.
Thank you to all of my customers, friends, clients and future customers. I know that owning a small business is all about the climb – it is all about learning what you did wrong and what you did good and keep moving forward.

Normally you will find me hanging out in my house just relaxing and working on stamps,but about three years ago my Mom got me hooked on something called Geocaching. It is a real-world outdoor treasure hunting game. Players try and locate hidden containers, called Geocaches, using a GPS-enabled device and then share their experiences online. It is a lot of fun and it gets you to explore the world around you.
The first time that we went Geocaching it was in the woods near our house. It is a very heavy wooded area that was infested with tiny vampires looking to just attach. We were covered in bug spray and we jumped in. It was a BLAST. We found the container and some new trails in the park to enjoy. It was nice to get outside and enjoy the parks and the weather. I love getting to know the parks and area that I travel to and learning all types of history and fun facts along the way. This game is all over the whole, heck there are even a few Geocaches at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. (How cool is that?)
We have been doing well, but I am sure that for the total number found we have searched for three times that.
Another great thing about Geocaching is that it is a great way to spend some time with your family and get in a good workout at the same time. Often you have to hike in the woods, on trails, or just getting in and out of the car. The only thing that I will suggest is that you plot out your route before you go to save on gas and time! The most caches that we have gotten in one day was 27!! It was a lot of fun!
Why am I talking about this on my blog well, I wanted to share with you something new that we are creating. It is Geocaching stamps that you can use to sign the log books. I am ALWAYS loosing my pen and with this stamp I never forget it. By using our self inking stamps you just need to find the cache and you are good to go! Check out our Geocaching Stamps – Click Here
